Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join a dynamic construction and real estate team. This role is to replace a current employee and offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post loan closing journal entries accurately and timely.
• Handle loan draws and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance through loan reporting and documentation.
• Support month-end closing processes for multiple entities.
• Maintain job cost accounting for construction and real estate projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Qualifications:

Requirements & Skills:

• Proven experience in construction and real estate accounting, managing multiple entities.
• Strong knowledge of JDE (mandatory), MS Office, and Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, reporting).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
